1. Social Media is not so critical to the org
2. An intern might have better than an old timer to social media.
Both these assumptions arent true and as suggested by Des Walsh- asking this question reflects the importance given to social media in an organisation...
Any org system cant be handled totally by an intern..
you need to provide a support and utilise the exposure</description>

There is a bigger issue, which is that the longer businesses take to build internal skills in working in the new social business environment, the more they risk being left behind. Use interns to help, sure, but not to &quot;handle&quot; (makes it seem like a problem, not an opportunity, much less the business necessity it is increasingly becoming). Would anyone seriously suggest they get an intern to &quot;handle&quot; their financial systems? :) Suggested reading Gary Vaynerchuk&#039;s Crush It!</description>
